About Us

Who is Sikhakhane Foundation?

The Sikhakhane Foundation was formed by the Sikhakhane family in consultation with Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane SC to champion the decolonization project which is very close to the Advocate’s heart. The vision of the foundation is to continue to promote the values of Pan Africanism and uphold the African spirit of Ubuntu. As the foundation we strive for excellence. .

What We Do

The Sikhakhane Foundation is working towards advancing the project of the decolonization of the African mind. We are dedicated in pushing for the decolonization of the African Mind through running programmes and conducting dialogues. The Foundation seeks to have dialogues about the continuous oppression of African people and African minds post democracy.

The Mission

The mission of The Sikhakhane Foundation is working towards creating an environment where a black child can thrive. To work towards fighting for the restoration of black people’s humanity. .

The Vision

The vision of The Sikhakhane Foundation is to see a better tomorrow for a black child, for a South African child and for an African child. It is to unchain the mind of a black child, a black African.

Values

The Sikhakhane Foundation is guided by two core values:
Ubuntu - Ubuntu is an integral part of The Sikhakhane Foundation, and we still believe that umuntu umuntu ngabantu.
Excellence - Our goal is to achieve quality through our educational programmes and dialogues. .
